Is Allah the Same As The God of the Bible?

The above video seeks to answer the questions as to who Allah is and is Allah the same as the God of the Bible? We have all heard the Former President of the United States of America, George Bush, soon after the tragic events of 911 having this to say, “Well, first of all, I believe in an almighty God, and I believe that all the world, whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God. That’s what I believe.” Is it true that Christianity and Islam worship the same God? Well for starters it would seem that the Qur’an believes that they are the same:

Surah 29:46
And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, “We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.”

What are the similarities and differences that these deities share? In this post I will attempt to answer these major questions and many more across 20 points that you may navigate through:

1) Differences in the Name for God
2) The God of the Bible has a Son
3) God is a God of Peace not Violence

6) Allah is anti-Semitic
7) Allah demands good works to enter Heaven
8) God grants His followers assurance of Heaven
9) Heaven in the Qur’an is a place of Carnal Pleasures
10) The Heavenly Father’s words are in line with History
11) God is a God of Liberty and Freedom of Choice

1) Differences in the Name for God

According to Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, the name of the true God is Allah, this name however does not line up with the Bible. The Bible teaches the name of God is given as “יְהֹוָה” in the original Hebrew which is pronounced as Yĕhovah and roughly equates to the English names of Jehovah or Yahweh. Yĕhovah means the “Self Existent One” which coincides with the name “I Am” which in the Hebrew is “Hayah.” In the scripture below God Himself gives us His name:

Exodus 6:2-3
And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:
And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH (יְהֹוָה) was I not known to them.

The Hebrew word for “God” is “El,” “Elohim” or “Eloah” which is similar to the Arabic word “Illah” but it is just a generic title that simply means “God” and can refer to the true God or idols and pagan gods. The only Hebrew word that resembles Allah is the Hebrew word “Alah” which interestingly enough means “to curse,” “to lament,” “to swear,” “to arise” or “to ascend.” Quick question which person do we know in the Bible who best fits that name? Alah sounds more like a name fitting for Lucifer don’t you think?

Isaiah 14:12-14
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

I understand that Christians in Arabic speaking countries will use the word “Allah” as a title to refer to God, but for the rest of us we must understand the difference which they already do. God does not wish that we make the error of identifying Him as the Allah of Islam or by any other name:

Isaiah 42:8
I am the LORD (יְהֹוָה): that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

2) The God of the Bible has a Son

The Bible, time and time again, indicates that God actually has a Son as evident in Psalms 2, John 3:16-17, Isaiah 9:6-7 and many other verses:

Proverbs 30:4
Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is His name, and what is His Son’s name, if thou canst tell?

Daniel 3:25
He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Psalms 2:12
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

John 5:23, 26
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

John 3:16, 17
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The same can not be said of Allah, because Allah according to the Qur’an has no son (Surah 4:171; Surah 72:3; Surah 112:2-3). In fact being born into this world is far beneath Allah:

Surah 112:2, 3
Allah, the Eternal Refuge.
He neither begets nor is born,

This of course eliminates Allah right away as being the God of the Bible or being Jesus Christ because Jesus in the Bible is described as being God in the flesh, just as His name “Emmanuel” suggests “God with us” (Matthew 1:23):

John 1:1-3, 14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

3) God is a God of Peace not Violence

One of the clearest differences between Allah and the God of the Bible is their stance on peace and violence. While the Old Testament has cases of violence and bloodshed they were always performed as a response to pride and sin. God reveals to us His stance on the shedding of innocent blood here in the below verse:

Deuteronomy 27:25
Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Exodus 23:7
Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

There are Muslims who make the bold claim that they are closer followers of Jesus Christ than Christians. Not so fast! Jesus taught us a great deal of love and forgiveness for our enemies and to even go as far as to pray for them:

Matthew 5:43-44
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Matthew 6:15
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Now, keep the above verse in mind when you read the following verse of Chapter or Surah 4:148 below. Allah encourages others to retaliate if they have been wronged:

Surah 4:148
Allah does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged. And ever is Allah Hearing and Knowing.

So in light of both the Bible and Qur’an’s opinion on the matter, it is unreasonable to even suggest that Allah is the same God of the Bible.

4) Allah Encourages his followers to fight and kill!

Bush in the opening quote of this post was either ignorant or was just giving America the “politically correct” answer for the sake of the thousands of Muslims in America. Allah time and time again promotes the use of every possible form of violence to advance the goals of Islam (Surah 8:39; Surah 9:123).

Surah 4:74
So let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. And he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or achieves victory – We will bestow upon him a great reward.

Surah 8:65
O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand.

Surah 9:111
Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.

I think those above Chapters or Surahs are quite disturbing. It is alarming that Allah will demand the lives of his believers to defend his name and defend Islam. I have serious problems with this, first of all I can’t help but be reminded of the scene in Judges 6 where Gideon destroyed the altar of Baal and chopped down the grove of Baal, soon after doing that the Baal worshipers seek to kill Gideon in revenge. Please take note of what Joash, his father says:

Judges 6:30, 31
Then the men of the city said unto Joash, Bring out thy son, that he may die: because he hath cast down the altar of Baal, and because he hath cut down the grove that was by it.
And Joash said unto all that stood against him, Will ye plead for Baal? will ye save him? he that will plead for him, let him be put to death whilst it is yet morning: if he be a god, let him plead for himself, because one hath cast down his altar.

Like Joash, I present the same questions to Muslims: If Allah is truly all powerful why do you need to shed blood on his behalf and even die for him? The Lord Jesus, actually reveals the answer to this problem:

John 18:36
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Jesus by His own words reveal that if His kingdom and servants were of this world then Christians would be fighting and shedding blood, by this same statement shouldn’t His own words prove that Islam is not of God, but in fact of this world? If you are Muslim I encourage you to pause and focus on what Jesus or the one you call Isa said there in John 18:36. The implications of that statement brings deep doubt as to the authenticity of the Qur’an and the reliability of Muhammad, the prophet of Islam. Then combine the last statement with this prophecy that Jesus Himself tells us, where He says that the days will come when Jews in synagogues, and I will also add Christians in churches, will be killed by people who think they are doing God’s will:

John 16:2, 3
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

5) God does not change His mind or contradict Himself

This is perhaps one of the most annoying points, because in my past I have actually had Muslims try to explain to me that God can change His mind. This is absolutely far from the truth (2 Timothy 2:13; Hebrews 13:8; Matthew 24:35), apart from what the Bible says simple common sense would tell us that an all knowing God would get things correct the first time:

James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Malachi 3:6
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

An alarming thing to note about the Qur’an is that it is riddled with contradictions! Allah would declare one thing and a few verses later would declare something that is absolutely opposite to the previous revelation. Muslims have a word for this called “Naskh” or Abrogation. Abrogation is Allah’s quick fix solution to his own contradictions and dictates that all later revelations replace any previous contradictory revelations:

Surah 2:106
We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?

Surah 16:101
And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse – and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down – they say, “You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies].” But most of them do not know.

Allah is not the same as my God, my God is all knowing and gets His words correct the first time, every time. The scariest thing about this doctrine is that all the later revealed violent passages of the Qur’an, according to the Law of Abrogation, are to replaced all of the earlier revealed peaceful passages of the Qur’an. I am sure you may be thinking what I am thinking, it seems that the Islamic Radical Extremists are not radical at all but are the fundamentalists who are obeying the Qur’an and Muhammad more closely than the peaceful Muslims around the world! I think the entire world should be thankful that the majority of the 1.6 billion Muslims on the planet are lukewarm and do not take their own Qur’an seriously.

6) Allah is anti-Semitic

Jehovah calls Himself the “God of Israel” 203 times in the Bible! There are actually verses in the Qur’an that speaks of the Jews and Israel as a people and nation loved by Allah (Surah 2: 122; Surah 44:30-32):

Surah 2:47
O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.

Surah 45:16
And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.

Remember the Law of Abrogation that I highlighted in point 5, where earlier revelations are replaced by later revelations, well take a look at these later revelations where Allah encourages violence to Jews (Surah 2:216):

Surah 9:29
Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

From the Hadith: Bukhari 52:177
“The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”

Do you see the problem here? I hope so, this all explains why the Jews and Israel are so hated by the Islamic world. Abrogation dictates that Muslims are to be antisemitic and ignore the earlier peaceful verses on Israel and the Jews. On the other hand, the God of the Bible loves the Jews and Israel and will always love them. God even informs us that He will bless those who bless the Jews and will curse those who curse the Jews (Genesis 12:3):

Deuteronomy 7:6
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

Jeremiah 31:3, 4
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

Isaiah 43:1
But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

7) Allah demands good works to enter Heaven

Allah makes it clear that the way to Heaven or Paradise according to the Qur’an is paved by good works and more importantly doing more good deeds than bad deeds:

Surah 3:57
But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers.

Surah 2:223
Your wives are a place of sowing of seed for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves. And fear Allah and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers.

It shouldn’t be a shock to anyone that the five pillars of Islam: Shahadah (declaring Allah is God and Muhammad his prophet), Salat (praying five times a day), Zakat (giving 2.5% of one’s savings to the poor), Sawm (fasting and self-control) and the Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca at least one in one’s lifetime) are all attempts of Muslims “to work” their way into Heaven. The God of the Bible teaches us that His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 33:8, 9), the righteousness of mankind is as filthy rags to God no matter how hard we try (Isaiah 64:6) and that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Below is an example where God warns us that even if we try to be righteous on our own, and should sin, He actually ignores the previous good works and punishes the sin with death and Hell:

Ezekiel 33:13
When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

For this very reason even individuals like Job and Eli of the Bible considered how could man possibly reconcile with God in Job 9:1-3 and in 1 Samuel 2:25 respectively. Even God discusses the dilemma of there not being an intercessor between Himself and mankind:

Isaiah 63:5
And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

Isaiah 44:6
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

I will suggest to you that the Messiah Jesus is this “arm” that brings salvation in Isaiah 63:5. Jesus is also this “redeemer” of Isaiah 44:6, which is an amazing verse that proves that God is more than one being (plural yet united as one) and that the Messiah is also one with God which is confirmed by the intimate use of the word “arm” as if to imply that the Messiah is a part of God or somehow one with Him as Jesus reveals in John 10:28-30. It is because of sin that Jesus came to the Earth to save mankind (1 John 3:8) and to serve as our Mediator between us and God (Revelation 5:9; 1 John 2:2; John 14:6; Isaiah 44:6; Hosea 13:4; 1 Timothy 2:5):

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

With respect to salvation, God promises that if we repent of our sins (1 John 1:9; 2 Chronicles 7:14), have faith and belief in Jesus Christ then one is granted access to Heaven (John 3:16; Romans 8:1; Romans 10:9, 10; John 5:24; John 3:18). The Bible makes it clear that the Christian is saved through faith and not works lest any man should boast. Boasting is prideful and God actually hates pride  (Proverbs 8:13), in addition to this, eternal life is a gift of God that He offers to all as He is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34):

Ephesians 2:8, 9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

8)  God grants His followers assurance of Heaven

For the Muslim, there is no assurance of Heaven, even Muhammad admitted that he was not even sure if he would go to Paradise. This is hinted here below in Surah 46;9:

Surah 46:9
Say, “I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner.”

The saddest part of Islam is that Muslims are only guaranteed acceptance into Heaven by dying for defending Allah. So every suicide bomber according to the Qur’an is supposed to be in Paradise right now!

The God of the Bible assures us that He will grant us eternal life once we repent of our sins and believe in His Son. He promises us that none of us will perish as long as we trust in Jesus (John 3:16, 17):

John 10:28-30
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
I and my Father are one.

It is God’s will that absolutely no human being perishes:

1 Timothy 2:3, 4
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

On the other hand, Allah has declared in the Qur’an that some men are actually predestined for destruction and that he will not even try to save them in anyway:

Surah 11:119
Except whom your Lord has given mercy, and for that He created them. But the word of your Lord is to be fulfilled that, “I will surely fill Hell with jinn and men all together.”

Surah 32:13
And if we had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] “I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.

I hope it is becoming clearer to you, who are reading this, that Allah is not the same God that Christians worship. To me Allah sounds more like Satan, who also seeks to destroy and drag as many souls that he can to Hell (John 10:10; 1 Peter 5:8; Isaiah 14:16, 17).

9) Heaven in the Qur’an is a place of Carnal Pleasures

According to the Qur’an and Muhammad’s words and sayings recorded in the Hadith, Heaven for the Muslim will be a place of endless pleasure, sex and even rivers of alcohol (Surah 37:40-48; Surah 2:25; Surah 52:19-23).

Surah 55:56-57
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? –

Surah 56:35-37
Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation (houris)
And made them virgins,
Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age,

Ali reported that the Muhammad said, ‘There is in Paradise a market wherein there will be no buying or selling, but will consist of men and women. When a man desires a beauty, he will have intercourse with them’(Al Hadis, Vol. 4, p. 172, No. 34).” Note well there is men and women available for sale in Paradise according to Muhammad!  There are even more passages of this nature: “Everyone that God admits into paradise will be married to 72 wives; two of them are houris and seventy of his inheritance of the [female] dwellers of hell. All of them will have libidinous sex organs and he will have an ever-erect penis (Sunan Ibn Majah, Zuhd (Book of Abstinence) 39).” Muhammad also described his view with the following words, “The smallest reward for the people of paradise is an abode where there are 80,000 servants and 72 wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine, and ruby, as wide as the distance from Al-Jabiyyah [a Damascus suburb] to Sana’a (Surah Al-Rahman 55, 72, as interpreted by Ibn Kathir, who died in 1373 CE).”

Is this true? Will Heaven really be nothing more than a glorified whore house? The Bible never once agrees with the Qur’an concerning sex and carnal pleasures in Heaven! No wonder the suicide bombers are often young men who are obviously seduced by Allah into believing that they will have 72 virgins in Heaven and heightened sexual performance. Jesus tells us that in Heaven, we will not marry or have sex or have any of those carnal pleasures there:

Luke 20:34-36
And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Paul tells us that there will be no indulgences in worldly sins and fleshly pleasures in Heaven; we are promised fellowship with our God and Creator:

Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

I strongly believe that this point separates the Bible as truly being the incorruptible and inspired Word of God and reveals that the Qur’an is in fact a book designed by man and for men as it uses such corrupt passages to lure men into Islam. Not to mention that the women in Paradise, according to the Qur’an, are treated like objects. The Qur’an teaches men to serve Allah in order to receive what Allah has to give them in Paradise, while the true God of the Bible wishes for us to love Him for who He is. My God does not need to bribe me or play Santa Claus in order to make me love Him, I love Him for who He is, He loves me so much even though I lived in sin and that He would come to Earth and die for my sins that I might live with Him is beyond words.

10) The Heavenly Father’s words are in line with History

According to Surah 18:83-98, Alexander the Great was called Dhul-Qarnayn, “the Two Horned One,” and that he was a Muslim who traveled until he found the sun literally setting in a muddy spring:

Surah 18:83, 84, 86, 91,
And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, “I will recite to you about him a report.”
Indeed We established him upon the earth, and We gave him to everything a way.
Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, “O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness.”
Thus. And We (Allah) had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge.

Apart from the obvious scientific error in saying that the sun literally sets in a muddy pool of water, the Qur’an makes further suggestions that Alexander the Great died at a ripe old age, when History tells us that he died young at the age of 33. Alexander was certainly no Muslim,  he was Greek and worshiped several gods, there are rumors that he actually believed that he was even a god – a son of Zeus. The historical inconsistencies of the Qur’an do not stop there!

According to Surah 4:157 the unbelieving Jews boasted by saying, “We killed the Messiah Jesus the son of Mary, the apostle of Allah.” The only problem with this is that the unbelieving Jews never admitted that Jesus was Messiah and would not have killed Him if they had believed that He was their long-awaited Messianic Deliverer. The unbelieving Jews had Jesus killed because they believed He was a false Messiah:

Luke 19:21, 22
Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

Allah confuses Mary the mother of Jesus, with Miriam, the brother of Moses who was from the tribe of Levi (Surah 3:35, 36; 66:12; 19:27-28) while the Bible clearly shows the difference in Numbers 26:59 and that Jesus was of the tribe of Judah and not the tribe of Levi according to Hebrews 7:14. There are so many other instances of historical errors in the Quran like Saul being confused with Gideon (Surah 2:241), Surah 3:42,45 teaches that several angels announced Christ birth to Mary while Luke 1:26 indicates it was only one, the Qur’an says that the flood of Noah occurred in Moses’ day (Surah 7:136, 7:59), Surah 37:100-112 teaches that Abraham sacrificed Ishmael and not Isaac as in Genesis 22:1-2, and on and on and on the Qur’an gets history wrong. The Qur’an teaches that Jesus never died on the cross while there is overwhelming evidence from famous historians of the time of Jesus like Josephus, Tacitus, Pliny the Younger, and others who all confirm that Jesus did die on a cross and even recorded the unnatural darkening of the sky, from midday to three o’clock in the evening, when He died as recorded in Matthew 27:45-45, Mark 15:33-34 and Luke 23:44-48. To learn more on this see my video on historical proof that Jesus exists and was crucified here.

The late William F. Albright, one of the world’s foremost archaeologists, said, “There can be no doubt that archaeology has confirmed the substantial historicity of Old Testament tradition (J. A. Thompson, The Bible and Archaeology [Grand Rapids, MI; Eerdmans, 1975], p. 5).” Nelson Glueck, world renowned archaeologist, concurs: “As a matter of fact, however, it maybe clearly stated categorically that no archaeological discovery has ever controverted a single biblical reference. Scores of archaeological findings have been made which confirm in clear outline or exact detail historical statements in the Bible.” It must be noted that both Gleuck and Albright were both non-Christian yet they were forced to shamefully admit to the Bible’s historical accuracy. You may learn how Archaeology has proven that the Bible is true here.

11) God is a God of Liberty and Freedom of Choice

God gives us free will to chose our own paths, Adam and Eve were made with free will and used their wills to disobey God. God never created robots to worship Him, He desires fellowship and a relationship with all His creation unlike the far and distant Allah who seeks to forcibly seize souls for Islam by using violence:

Surah 8:67
It is not for a prophet to have captives [of war] until he inflicts a massacre [upon Allah ‘s enemies] in the land. Some Muslims desire the commodities of this world, but Allah desires [for you] the Hereafter. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

Surah 9:5
And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

The true living God is a God who gives us the free will to choose Him or not:

Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

The Bible also tells us that the freedom that God delivers is beyond any liberty or peace that this world can ever offer to us, which includes freedom from the lure of sin, freedom from addictions and fear:

John 8:32, 36
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

12) God is not a liar and He cannot deceive others

The Bible makes it clear that God can never lie or deceive others:

Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

The same cannot be said of Allah, one of the 99 names or titles of Allah is “Khayrul-Makireen” which means “The Greatest of ALL Deceivers.” The Arabic word “makr” means “deceiver” or “schemer” and Allah seems to actually take pride in this title by using it himself in several verses of the Qur’an (Surah 3:54; Surah 7:99; Surah 8:30; Surah 10:21; Surah 13:42; Surah 27:50 ). Guess what! The deceit does not stop there, there is a story in the Qur’an where Allah have actually deceived Muhammad into believing that he was going to fight a few people in a raid but in actuality Muhammad was to face a large opposition:

Surah 8:43
[Remember, O Muhammad], when Allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if He had shown them to you as many, you [believers] would have lost courage and would have disputed in the matter [of whether to fight], but Allah saved [you from that]. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

Allah has even deceived spirits called Jinn into working for him (Surah 34:13-14). Allah according to the Qur’an has deceived the Jews and the Christians into thinking that Jesus died on the cross:

Surah 4:157
And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah .” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

I have serious problems with all of this and I am sure that many of you reading this would as well, because this all raises the question as to where does Allah’s deceptions end? What if the Qur’an was an elaborate deception of Allah? What if Allah is deceiving 1.6 billion Muslims right now and leading them all straight to Hell? I believe Allah actually answers my questions here in Surah 4:142:

Surah 4:142
Indeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allah , but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little,

Many Muslims will rise up to oppose this translation of the word “makr” but most Islamic Scholars do agree that this is the true meaning. For example, Dr. Mahmoud M. Ayoub in his book, “The Quran and Its Interpreters, Vol. II The House of Imran,” brings up the question of  “how the word makr (scheming or plotting), which implies deceitfulness or dishonesty, could be attributed to God (Ibid. [1992 State University of New York Press, Albany], p. 165).” After listing several Muslim sources he quotes ar-Razi as arguing that “scheming (makr) is actually an act of deception aiming at causing evil (Ibid., p. 166).”

Apart from deception Allah also allows people into sin for the express purpose of destroying them as in Surah 17:16. Allah has actually fixed the amount of adultery that an unfaithful man or woman may commit and actually forces them to meet the limit according to the Hadith, Sahih Muslim 6421 and 6422. Allah may lead people to truth or willfully lead them to deception as in Surah 6:39 and many other places (Surah 7:178-179, 186; Surah 11:118-119):

Surah 14:4
And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Once again Allah reminds me of the “Father of Lies” in the Bible, the one that the Bible refers to by the name Satan. God is a God of truth (Psalms 119:160; John 17:17; Ephesians 1:13-14;  Psalms 86:11) and can never lie or deceive us as Numbers 23:19 says, but Satan can:

John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

13) God is not the Author of Confusion

The Bible teaches that the God of the Bible is not the creator of confusion:

1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

A) I will now explore some more inconsistencies of the Qur’an. Firstly, Allah says that the Qur’an is in pure Arabic (Surah 12:2; Surah 13:37)

Surah 16:103
And We certainly know that they say, “It is only a human being who teaches the Prophet.” The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur’an is [in] a clear Arabic language.

Allah claims that he has dictated the Qur’an in pure Arabic, this is actually not the case because there are several foreign words within the Qur’an. I will list them out here:

  • Abariq, Surah 56:18, Persian
  • Adam, Surah  2:34, Akkadian
  • Araik, Surah 18:31, Persian
  • Firdaus, Surah 18:107, Pahlavi
  • Fir’awn, Surah 73:15, Syriac
  • Habr, Surah 9:31, Hebrew (Haver)
  • Istabraq, Surah 18:31, Persian (Istabar)
  • Sakina, Surah 2:248, Hebrew
  • Sijjil (baked clay), Surah 105:4, Persian
  • Taghut (idols), Surah 2:257, Syriac (Teghutha)
  • Zakat, Surah 2:110, Syriac (Zkhutha)
  • Zanjabil (ginger), Surah 76:17, Pahlavi

B) Secondly, the Qur’an has many grammatical errors. A few examples are include the following passages:

  •  Surah 7:56 – “The mercy of Allah is near”

Arabic – “inna rahmata Allahi qaribun min al-mohseneen.”

The word qaribun is the predicate of rahmata Allahi, and as such should match in gender. Since rahmata is feminine the word qaribun (which is masculine ) should be qaribah, its feminine form.

  • Surah 7:160 – “We divided them in twelve tribes”

Arabic – “wa qata’nahom ‘ethnata ‘ashrata asbatan.”

In Arabic, any noun which is counted by a number above ten should be singular, as is the case in Surah 7:142; Surah 2:60; Surah 5:12; Surah 9:36; Surah 12:4. As such the Arabic asbatan should be sebtan.

  • Surah 5:69 – “Surely they that believe, and those of Jewry, and the Sabians, and the Christians, whosoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, and works righteousness- no fear shall be on them, neither shall they sorrow.”

Arabic- “Innal-laziina ‘aamanuu wal-laziina haaduu was-Saabi’uuna wan-Nasaara man’amaana bilaahi wal-Yawmil Aakhiri wa ‘amila saali-hanfalaa khaw-fun ‘alay-him wa laa hum yah-zanuun.”

According to scholars, the Arabic Saabi’uuna has been wrongly declined. Compare the same grammatical structure found in the following Surahs:

Surah 2:62- “Innal-laziina ‘aamanuu wal-laziina haaduu wan-Nasaara was-Saabi’iina…” and Surah 22:17- “Innal-laziina ‘aamanuu wal-laziina haaduu was-Saabi’iina wan-Nasaara…”

In the last two Surahs the term was declined correctly, Saabi’iina, as opposed to Saabi’uuna. This is due to the word inna found in the beginning of the sentence causing a form of declension called “nasb” (as in the cases of accusative or subjunctive) with the“yeh” being the “sign of nasb”. But the word Saabi’uuna is given the case of ‘uu, a sign of “rafa” ( as in cases of nominative and indicative ). Accordingly, the verse in 5:69 is wrong.

  • Surah 91:5 – “By the heaven and that which built it.”

Arabic- “was-samaaa-i wa maa ba-naahaa.”

The word ma is impersonal in Arabic. Yet, the subject of the verse is Allah, heaven’s Creator. As such the word man, meaning “him who“, should have been used instead of the impersonal ma.

C) Lastly, the Qur’an is confusing in that it is not consistent with the most fundamental themes in the Bible. Nowhere does the city of Jerusalem and the names of God: Elohim, Jehovah or Yahweh appear in the Qur’an. Likewise, nowhere does the city of Mecca and the name of Allah exists within the Bible. Another thing that most Christians do not know is that the Qur’an even though it was dictated to one man, was never arranged in logical and chronological order. See this link here for more details as to its true chronological order. I am amazed that Allah can still take pride in the Qur’an, because even Muslims admit that the topics discussed from Surah to Surah are incoherent and never flows logically into each other. Allah’s reasons for the confusion in the Qur’an is in itself confusing:

Surah 25:32
And those who disbelieve say, “Why was the Qur’an not revealed to him all at once?” Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.

14) Allah is prejudiced to people with disabilities

The Qur’an makes the claim that some people who are born deaf and blind are stricken with these disabilities by Allah as a punishment to them:

Surah 47:23
Those [who do so] are the ones that Allah has cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision.

Surah 2: 17, 18
Their example is that of one who kindled a fire, but when it illuminated what was around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness [so] they could not see.
Deaf, dumb and blind – so they will not return [to the right path].

Yes, so Allah deliberately have stricken these people with disabilities so that they will be deliberately misled. Allah in the Qur’an is very cruel and claims to even allow a wicked person to actually live longer and continue in evil so that this person will reap greater punishment in Hell:

Surah 3:178
And let not those who disbelieve ever think that [because] We extend their time [of enjoyment] it is better for them. We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin, and for them is a humiliating punishment.

By considering the message of Surah 3:178 above, did Muhammad live to enjoy old age of 62, (which was considered a long life in that era,) for the purpose of spreading this false religion? Was he allowed to live that long to reap more punishment in hell? I have a video that indicates just that here! Also I have another video and article of a Christian man who had a vision of hell here. Once again the Bible indicates that there is in fact a being who also blinds others from seeing the truth and mislead others and he is the “god of this world,” another title Allah often uses in the Qur’an, that person is Satan:

2 Corinthians 4:3, 4
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

15) God knows Us

The Bible teaches us that God is all knowing. It is nice to know that He is all knowing but it is amazing to realize that He knows each of us personally even from our mother’s womb:

Isaiah 44:24
Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

Isaiah 49:1
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

God knows us through and through, He even knows  the number of hairs on our head (Luke 12:7). Yes, it is great to know that God loves us but He actually wants to fellowship with us, this is where the God of the Bible differs from Allah:

Isaiah 57:15
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

John 14:23
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Compare this to the very words of Allah who claims to know us, but only wants us to worship him but the Surah below makes no mention of Allah wishing to fellowship with us:

Surah 51:56
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

“Worship” is not the same as “fellowship,” worship is a one way relationship; fellowship is both ways. In fact this implies that Allah is distant from his creation, almost to the point where he does not even need to know us. This point is confirmed by his own words in Surah 35:15:

Surah 35:15
O mankind, you are those in need of Allah , while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

If you are Muslim and reading this I will let you know that we can know God in fact He longs for us to know Him, which brings me to my next point.

16) We can know God

The God of the Bible is not distant, He is near us and while we are to worship Him, He desires far more than that, He desires us to know Him:

Jeremiah 24:7
And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

Jeremiah 31:34
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Deuteronomy 6:5
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

God desires for us to know Him, but the Bible teaches us that sin has gotten in the way of us knowing Him:

Isaiah 59:2
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

For this very reason God saw it fit to actually come down to us wrapped in flesh (Matthew 1:23; Isaiah 9:6; John 14:7), to deliver us from our sins (1 John 2:2; Titus 2:14) and to open the way for us to know Him fully:

John 1:1-3, 14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 10:14
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

17) God loves us

The Qur’an teaches that Allah loves people but nowhere does it say that Allah is love. The God of the Bible tells us in His word that He is love:

1 John 4:16
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Unfortunately Allah does not indicate in anywhere in the Qur’an that he loves his creation, however, he does say in the Qur’an that he is merciful but mercy is not love. For example, a judge can have mercy on a prisoner by shortening his sentence, that does not mean that the judge loves the prisoner, to make matters worse, such a judge is not practicing perfect justice but is rather a “corrupt judge” by allowing crimes to go unpunished. Interestingly enough, Allah embodies this “corrupt judge” analogy in a way, in Surah 5:18, where he admits that he punishes who he wishes but still he never once describes that he loves his servants:

Surah 5:18
But the Jews and the Christians say, “We are the children of Allah and His beloved.” Say, “Then why does He punish you for your sins?” Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.

Allah actually goes a step further by indicating that he hates wrongdoers (Surah 3:140; Surah 4:107; Surah 40:10). Allah is cruel and willfully leads people to self destruction and sin (Surah 5:49; Surah 4:31). Allah hates those who do not love him (Surah 2:98; Surah 3:32). This cannot be said of the God of the Bible, He loves those who actually hate Him:

Ezekiel 33:11
Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Matthew 5:43-45
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Jesus reveals to us the true depths of love itself. He indicated to us through His own words that the demonstration of true love is sacrificing one’s life for another:

John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

And this is exactly what God did for us, Jesus Christ died for us that we would not perish and live with Him forever (John 3:16). Not once does the Qur’an tells us of Allah making any sacrifice for us, let alone actually dying on our behalf. Allah teaches in Surah 4:158, that Jesus never died in order to deny God’s sacrifice and demonstration of His love for us. Allah goes on to even say that there is no one to draw men to himself; no mediator; no intercessor:

Surah 6:51
And warn by the Qur’an those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord – for them besides Him will be no protector and no intercessor – that they might become righteous.

But this is not true, the God of the Bible teaches that He is the God, that He has a Redeemer that will be used to save mankind and also that He is one with this same Redeemer or Savior as the verse below clearly teaches:

Isaiah 44:6
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

18) Allah is one and not three in one.

“Elohim,” the Hebrew word for “God” is a plural noun, there are verses in Genesis where the pronoun is in the first person plural as in Genesis 1:26:

Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Allah, on the other hand, describes himself as being one single deity (Surah 4:171) :

Surah 112:1-4
Say, “He is Allah , [who is] One,
Allah , the Eternal Refuge.
He neither begets nor is born,
Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”

This is very perplexing as the Qur’an actually describes Allah several times as a being that claims to exist as plural by his repeated use of first person plural pronouns (Surah 15:85; Surah 4:74; Surah 2:106; Surah 16:101; Surah 45:16; Surah 32:18; Surah 56:35; Surah 18:84, 91; Surah 14:4; Surah 3:178 and many more):

Surah 15:9
Indeed, it is We (Allah) who sent down the Qur’an and indeed, We will be its guardian.

Muslims have a serious problem here, as Allah clearly contradicts himself. This problem is exacerbated even more because Surah 112, that mentions Allah as one being, was revealed fairly early to Muhammad and because of the Law of Abrogation all the later verses that suggest that Allah is plural must therefore replace the idea of Allah being one deity. The Bible does say quite a number of times that God is plural yet united. I will show an example of this in the verse below:

Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

In the Hebrew language there are two popular words for “one” a person may use either “echad” which means “oneness in the sense of unity of a group of individuals” and “yachid” in the sense of “one as in solitary oneness or numerical one.” In the above verse, the Hebrew word for “one” used is “echad” which means compound unity; collective sense; plurality in unity, like a cluster of grapes, all implying that God is a number of beings that are in perfect unity. The Bible goes on to actually identify the beings that all make up this one God in the New Testament:

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

The above verses actually indicates to us that God has plurality but yet united as one, in the similar way that the courts here on Earth has a Tribunal comprised of three judges who pass judgment as if they are one judge. In fact this is idea is a very consistent theme throughout the Bible. God informs us that at the mouth of two or three witnesses a matter will be established and that a threefold cord is not easily broken:

Deuteronomy 19:15
One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

Ecclesiastes 4:12
And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Psalms Chapter 2 in the Bible is an entire chapter that records a conversation that the Trinity has with each other and I strongly encourage you to read it here. All these Old Testament verses actually further confirms that the Trinity doctrine in Christianity is valid, and that God Himself actually does exist as three persons, yet being one! The Bible further confirms that God is plural yet one in the verse I have mentioned in my last point:

Isaiah 44:6
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Above we see two beings “Lord the King of Israel” who I believe is God the Father and the “redeemer the LORD of hosts” who may be God the Son (Jesus), right here we have two beings that are still one which satisfies the requirements that God established in Deuteronomy 19:15. A Muslim may object to Isaiah 44:6, asking the question: Well where is the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity? I admit this is a valid objection because in parts of the New testament Jesus says that He and His Father are one (John 10:30), yet seems to ignore the Holy Spirit. I have this very simple answer to this, the Bible actually tells us that the Holy Spirit will not always speak about Himself and the Bible was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16):

John 16:13
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

In spite of the overwhelming evidence that the Creator of this Universe is actually three beings in perfect harmony and existing as one, the Qur’an actually further contradicts itself by declaring such beliefs are evil, blasphemous and wicked even though the Qur’an actually supports this idea to an extent!:

Surah 5:73
They have certainly disbelieved who say, ” Allah is the third of three.” And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.

The Qur’an even goes further to deny that Jesus is one with God and is God as the Bible claims Him to be (Surah 4:172; Surah 5:73; Surah 9:30). This is the true heresy and blasphemy in the eyes of God:

1 John 2:22, 23
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

Jesus is the Son of God, a human can only give birth to another human, a cat can only give birth to another cat, therefore God can only give birth to God. At this point Muslims will deny the Bible by saying: Well the Bible is a lie! Because the Qur’an tells us that it was corrupted. To this I present this statement from Allah himself, Allah surprisingly tells Christians and Jews to search the Bible and compare it to what is mentioned in the Qur’an. Allah actually says in Surah 5:47 that whoever does not judge what is said in the Bible they are being disobedient, so even Muslims are commanded to actually read the Bible along  with the Jews and Christians and compare the Bible with the Qur’an:

Surah 5:47
And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed – then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient.

Now, a Muslim must think to himself or herself: If the Bible was corrupted then why would Allah actually direct people to a corrupt book? The simple answer to this is that the Bible was never corrupted. The Bible that Surah 5:47 mentioned is the same Bible that we have today. So if you are Muslim I implore you to please consider what the Bible has to say about the nature of God. Jesus Himself claimed to be God many times (John 8:58, 59; John 10:30-33), in fact He died because He claimed to be God. Jesus says that if you do not believe that He is God and Savior then you will die in your sins and be damned to Hell forever:

John 8:24
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

It may sound crazy to us humans to imagine anyone existing as three separate living beings acting as one, but God is Almighty, nothing is impossible for Him, so why do we put Him in a box? After all, the Bible says that we are made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26), we are three part beings ourselves- body, spirit and soul (consciousness). The universe and all creation actually has a three part nature as it has space, time and matter. So it is very likely that God exists as a three part being but unlike us His three parts actually have separate unique and personal identities.

19) Allah has poor methods to authenticate himself

Allah by his own words says that because he causes misfortune, the world would recognize him as being god:

Surah 6:65
Say, “He is the [one] Able to send upon you affliction from above you or from beneath your feet or to confuse you [so you become] sects and make you taste the violence of one another.” Look how We diversify the signs that they might understand.

I think the above is a poor proof for Allah to identify himself as being God. In Surah 9:70, Allah goes on to say that a few tribes around Muhammad had proofs for Allah’s sovereignty, we are not even informed of what those proofs are by Muhammad. My point is that these are very hollow claims; claims that are not strong enough to convince anyone that Allah is the same as the God of the Bible. My God has no problem in validating Himself in any way. The God of the Bible tells us this:

Isaiah 46:9-10
Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

So from the verse above we learn that God will use fulfilled prophecy to verify that He is God and that the Hebrew and Christian scriptures are indeed from Him. There are over 300 fulfilled prophecies concerning Jesus, the Messiah, in the Bible. I will now proceed to mention all 365 prophecies here now! Lol, just joking, I’ll just mention one here to be brief:

Psalms 22:16
For dogs encompassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

The amazing thing about this prophecy is that it was written several centuries before the very invention of the punishment of crucifixion, with the dogs being the gentiles (non-Jews) as referred in Matthew 15:26-27 and the assembly of the wicked being the Jews and Pharisees (Number 14:5). In addition to this, several Bible prophecies were fulfilled just in the last century like the return of the Jews to Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6). The United Nations makes several proposals and many deliberations concerning Jerusalem and Israel, one such example is the United Nations Resolution 181 which involved dividing the lands of Israel:

Zechariah 12:2-3
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

With Great Britain ruling Israel since 1922, it was at the heart of the UN Resolution 181 made in 1947. Soon after the UN Resolution 181, the British empire began to crumble or “cut in pieces” with many of its colonies breaking up and becoming independent nations, like India and many of the Caribbean islands like Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, etc. To this day Jerusalem and Israel are “a cup of trembling” and a “burdensome stone” for the nations because most of the deliberations of the UN are focused on bringing peace to Israel. Another proof that the God of the Bible uses to verify Himself is my favorite which is the scientific facts mentioned in the Bible. I wrote an article discussing 20 of the hundreds of scientific insights that have been revealed in the Bible here. The fact that Allah also rejects historical facts certainly does not make matters better for him as I show in point 10.

20) God swears by Himself; Allah swears by his creation

My final point here actually goes hand in hand with my last point. It may be one of the most telling proofs for those who are Muslim and are really looking for the truth. The Bible indicates that God swears by Himself. This is logical as there is no one or anything that is greater than God that is worth swearing by, so He swears by Himself (Jeremiah 22:5).

Hebrews 6:13, 16
For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

Isaiah 45:23
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

However, in the Qur’an, Allah actually swears by a number of created objects. Allah swears by the Qur’an (Surah 36:2; Surah 38:1), Allah swears by the stars and constellations (Surah 86:1; Surah 74:32-34; Surah 53:1), Allah swears by the pen (Surah 90:1), and Allah swears by creation as in Surah 92:1, 2:

Surah 36:2, 3
By the wise Qur’an.
Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers,

Surah 92:1, 2
By the night when it covers
And [by] the day when it appears

I am alarmed by this for a good reason, and I hope you understand where I am going with this. When God swears by Himself, the promise that He makes is implied to last forever as He is eternal and everlasting. However, when Allah swears by created objects he swears on objects that are destined to grow old, decay, die or be destroyed. The Bible actually tells us this fact about the creation:

Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

So, the implication here, that a Muslim has to consider, is that Allah’s words are truly meaningless, no one can truly place their hope or trust in Allah. Who will wish to serve a god that does not fulfill his promises?

Sadly, there is a growing movement called “Chrislam” where Christians and Muslims blend the two religions into one. This is certainly not a new concept as the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church actually says in paragraph 841, “The Church’s relationship with the Muslims. ‘The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.'” The Roman Catholic church is wrong here and by its own confession say that Roman Catholics worship Allah! As all the points that I have highlighted here abundantly shows that Muslims and Christians do not worship the same God. The God of the Bible seems to be the true God and that Allah may actually be Satan in disguise, which is supported by this prophecy in the Bible made a few centuries before the Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad. If you are a Muslim and are reading this I would like to invite you to please learn how to accept the true living God here:

1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
